Are there any grants available for insulation measures?
If you own your home or rent it from a private landlord you may be eligible for cavity wall and loft insulation. You can claim if: 1. You are a single parent family with a child under the age of 16. 2. You are over 60 and your state pension is your main source of income. 3. You receive one or more of the following benefits: • Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than 15,592 per annum) • Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than 15,592 per annum) • Attendance Allowance • Disability Living Allowance • Income Support • Housing Benefit • Council Tax Benefit • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance • Pension Credit • War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance) • Disablement Pension (which must include Constant Attendance Allowance) 4. You are over 70 years of age.
