Are there any insurance benefits to having shutters?
There are insurance benefits to getting hurricane protection for your home. The benefits differ greatly depending on your insurance company. We suggest that you call your insurance company and find out what benefits they offer. Only certain types of contractors, engineers building inspectors are certified to sign the necessary forms to help obtain your insurance discounts. Many companies will install shutters and upon completion have to refer you to someone else to complete the paperwork, AND there could be an additional charge of $200-$500 to have these forms completed. Unlike many other shutter companies, American Eagle CAN and will complete all of these forms (at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE) as we are a full service contractor!
