Are there any natural predators of the Red Wasp? Is there a way to kill them without chemicals?

The Red Wasp (Vespula rufa). One of the most peaceful species is the Red Wasp. It is an easy species to identify: the first two segments of the abdomen are more or less red. This makes it look like a Hornet. This species however is much larger and has red markings on all body parts, where the Red Wasp has not. The Red Wasp builds a nest in the ground and prefers to use abandoned mouse nests. Are you sure they are ‘red wasps’? Or have you actually got hornets?? Check out this link for pictures to compare. There are a lot of similar looking species out there.
