Premier Travel Inn is the cheapest chain, with prices varying from £50ish to £80ish per night, depending on what part of the country you’re in. Whilst you’d find a bed and breakfast to be around the same price, Premier Travel Inn is that much more convenient – they have one website serving all their locations across the country. You might not find a b&b without talking to the local tourist office in each area, making it a lot more effort. Definitely check out discount hotel sites, like lastminute.com. Whilst prices obviously depend on what time of year you’re travelling and even what night of the week you stay, you may find that in the main centres like London you’ll find a really posh hotel for the same price as Premier Travel Inn.
