You may try http://fantasyartdesign.com/ and http://interartcenter.net/ they are different from the deviant, but the idea is the same. You may even get some income with your art if you add your pictures to the clip art sharing of interartcenter.net.

I’m a deviantart user myself (gestianpoet21) and am always looking for sites like dA. SheezyArt is one, sort of a knockoff but it has a little more copyright freedom and a few interesting options Sometimes I use Gaia to post art. It can be fun.

I just found a new site for posting art. The community is still really small though. At least it looks like the art that is posted can’t be downloaded which is a plus when you don’t want your creations stolen.
