Are there any poisonous snakes in Ontario Canada?

The Massasauga Rattler is the only poisonous species of snakes in Ontario. It is usually found in the Georgian Bay area. They like wet and rocky environments, and are fairly small…so when they strike it is usually on the foot or ankle. They do not always inject venom when they bite, so many bite victims are fine.
