There are many programs to help those with bad or no credit buy a home.  Search the HUD.gov website for programs sponsored by HUD.  Habitat for Humanity also helps those with bad or no credit.  You can also search for programs run locally.  You should also look into Lease to Own or Rent to Own houses offered by individual investors.  Many real estate investors have found that selling to those with bad or no credit on a lease to own basis is a good way to sell their properties.   Many will even help connect you with a specialist to repair your credit.
