Yes. No person except an Election Officer is permitted to distribute a circular, card or other paper referring to an election within 50 metres of the polling place. Similarly, no person shall post or authorize the posting of a sign, poster or placard referring to an election within a building or within 50 metres of the entrance to a building, except election officials.
