Yes. The AlphaServer GS140 system only supports hard partitions using Tru64 UNIX V4.0F or later. The AlphaServer GS160/GS320 systems support a mixed operating system environment within a partitioned system using Tru64 UNIX V4.0G or V5.1 or greater and OpenVMS V7.2-1H1 or greater.
