Yes. There are 2 residential restricted parking areas in the City of Richmond: Fan District (2 restricted parking zones) and Carver District (1 restricted parking zone). In these residential areas, parking is restricted to 1 hour during specific times of the day to provide residents of these areas access to parking near their home. In addition to these restricted parking districts, there are also locations with appropriate signage that restrict parking in loading zones, bus stops and other such areas where parking is limited or restricted due to Virginia and/or city traffic laws.
