Are there Building Codes for Hurricane and Tornado Shelters?

0

Recently, the International Code Council (ICC) developed a new building code for storm shelters called ICC-500. Many of the testing requirements found in the FEMA 320 guidelines are also found in the new ICC- 500 certification for storm shelters. The DuPont™ StormRoom™ meets all of these proposed requirements, and once the ICC – 500 is published, DuPont will obtain certification for an ICC-500 storm shelter.
