Are there change/cancellation policies for Expedia Special Rate hotels?

We understand that sometimes plans fall through. We do not charge a change or cancel fee. However, the hotel with which you have a reservation may have change or cancellation fees that we are required to pass on. These hotel fees vary based on property restrictions or dates of travel; please verify the change/cancellation policies unique to your selected property. Change/cancellation policies for a particular property are located in the Rules and Restrictions section of the Rate Details page or within your itinerary, if you have an existing reservation. Change/cancellation of existing Expedia Special Rate hotel reservations must be made through Expedia. Note: We do not charge a change or cancel fee for hotels booked as part of a package. However, the hotel with which you have a reservation may have change or cancellation fees that we are required to pass on. Other components of the package may have change/cancellation fees.  more
