Are there different types of henna tattoos?
I’ve been doing henna for a few years. There are essentially two types of henna. Brown henna is the good kind which leaves an orangeish-brownish stain on your skin. Black henna can cause scarring and isn’t really henna at all. It’s basically a black dye that certain people can have severe allergic reactions to. One method is not better than the others. It will not change the length of time it stays on your skin. A henna stain is a henna stain, no matter how it got there.
