Yes – simvastatin will not be prescibed if you are taking interacting drugs. Interacting drugs are listed ont eh Simvastin page. The is also a list of the interacting drugs on the patient informataion leaflet supplied with your tablets. If in doubt about a new drug ask a pharmacist or doctor.
