Grants, no. Tax credits are available to properties either individually listed or part of a historic district listed on the state or National Register of Historic Places. The tax credits are only available if your project is eligible under the program and is reviewed and approved by the State Historic Preservation office in Madison or the National Park Service. I have always wondered why a new street is plowed and paved and then within one year or so, the new street is torn in order to replace sewer pipes or something else.
