Are there opportunities for further study, like MSc or PhD?
Yes, some of our undergraduate students go on to the Masters in Electronic Commerce Technology, Masters in eHealth or Masters in eScience, while others go straight into PhD research. We have a long-standing reputation for our research in Artificial Intelligence and the Department is internationally recognised for its work in Knowledge and Information Management. All of our members of academic staff are active in research. There are many PhD research opportunities in our four main research groups: Natural Language Generation, Intelligent Software Agents, Knowledge Technologies and Computational Analysis and Modelling. In addition to our academic staff we currently have 54 research staff and students.
