Are there professional computer hackers?
We prefer to call ourselves “White Hat Hackers” or Offensive Security Specialists. We do exist. Typically what you’d see us do is “Penetration Testing” On networks, websites and software to find weaknesses that we can exploit, and then fix them or report it to the programming departments. Pitty tho, most employers are sketchy about hiring a hacker because of the damage they “could do”.
