Are there time cut-offs? Do competitors have to meet any standards to enter?
There are no actual cut-off times, but the race organisers reserve the right to remove a swimmer from the water if they feel that the safety of the participant or other participants is at risk. In terms of standards we would advise that anyone entering the swim is able to complete similar distances before the event itself.
