Are UK imports of Left 4 Dead 2 uncensored or censored in Australia?
The version released in the UK will not be censored, so an import copy will not be censored either. However it depends on the retailer. Any respectable retailer will be aware of the legality of exporting L4D2 to Australia and may decide not to offer it to Australian customers. If it somehow managed to get caught in customs, your copy would be confiscated. Also, I’m not sure how it would work in terms of online play. If you are buying on consoles, XBox Live and PSN are regionally linked, meaning that those networks will try and connect you with gamers in your own region. If you have a different version of the game to other players, you might find it hard to get online games. If you are ordering for PC, you should be alright in terms of online play. If I was in your position, I’d go for it, and stick two fingers up at those censoring, ignorant fools in your government.
