Are vegan marshmallows available?
Jessica: Well I’m glad you asked that! I have just recently made contact with a lovely woman in New Zealand who is making vegan marshmallows and they are delicious. My first shipment has just arrived. I’ve been told that one of the US brands discovered recently that their gelatin wasn’t actually vegan which is a bit of a shock but these ones are made with carrageenan and locust bean gum instead of gelatin so they are definitely safe. Due to the exchange rate and shipping costs they are a bit pricey but we all deserve a treat from time to time. She also makes vegan fudge which is heavenly, that’ll be arriving late September.
