Not all of these supplements are derived from animal sources. Most Omega 3 supplements are from Flax seed. I use a form of Flax oil as my Omega 3 supplement. As for B12, commercial supplements are produced through the fermentation of microorganisms like yeast and have nothing to do with animal sources. So no cheating is necessary.
