Are walkers welcomed?
ABSOLUTELY. We encourage you to participate. If you are walking the full marathon you must maintain a 15 min/mile pace. Please make sure that you can sustain this brisk walking pace before you sign up for the marathon. If this is too fast for you then you should select the half marathon which has a pace limit of 15 min/mile for the first 7 miles – then you are allowed to go 18 min/per mile after that to the finish.
