It’s usually discouraged for the first month or so. After that, alcohol is OK, but you have to be VERY careful. You won’t react to it the same as before the surgery. Even very small amounts could make you quite drunk.

Yes you can, but don’t drink much. My gram had it and she drank like half of a smirnoff twisted tea, and she was a little drunk.
