I didn’t know he won at the BET awards that took place earlier this month. Anyway, I read at 1800gospel.com that he won the Stellars for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, CD of the Year, Traditional Male of the Year, Traditional CD of the Year, and Music Video of the Year so all of his fans must have been pretty excited with this huge success.

The 2008 BET Awards are set to go down June 24th @ 8:00m ET. So far, we have Kanye West, Usher, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne and Nelly ready to set LA on fire with their respective performance, but I just got word, 3 more superstars have been added to this mega star mix…… That’s right ladies and gentleman, super songwriter, Neyo, has been added to the list of performers for the 2008 BET Awards. After watching his video “Closer”, the first offering from his 3rd LP, Year Of The Gentlemen, I can only imagine what his live show will be like. Oh, but wait….it only gets better! Rihanna, Marvin Sapp and Jill Scott have also been added to the list of star studded performers for the 8th Annual 2008 BET Awards. Jill Scott has been tapped to perform a special tribute to legendary R&B Icon, Al Green, who is receiving BET’s Lifetime Achievement A
