Spur 601 and Loop 375 and new gates on the east side of Fort Bliss are opening the Eastside to be as much of the Fort Bliss community as the Northeast traditionally has been. When you can get on the loop at Montana and 375, and get off the Liberty Expressway and be at US 54 in seven or eight minutes tops, or continue to the Loop and be in Northeast El Paso at Cohen Stadium in 10 to 15 minutes, it changes the whole makeup and relationship between Northeast and East El Paso.
