No, both the 8″ and 12″ wheels and tires are rated for highway speeds, the overall diameter of the tires are about 18 inches and 22 inches respectively. We only use high capacity C-rated 6-ply tires. Remember small wheel size is a real benefit when storing a portable trailer and if necessary larger wheel and tires could be fitted for special applications.
