As a contractor, what do I need to obtain a sidewalk permit, or a permit to install water/sewer laterals?
You will need a valid Contractors License authorizing the type of work to be done. (e.g. – sidewalk work would require a C8 or A license; sewer lateral would require a C34, A, or a C36 in conjunction with a C12 license.) Refer to California Contractors State License Board.
