As a Live-In Caregiver applicant, why must my employer explain why they require a Live-In Caregiver if they have already received a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) for that employment?
An LMO validation only confirms that there is a shortage of Canadian workers for that type of employment, and as such, an employer is given permission to hire a foreign worker. All other aspects of the specific offer of employment are assessed by the visa office as part of the work permit application.
