At what time of year do grasses and flowers normally produce pollen?
It varies from species to species, but the majority of grasses would be June/July Question: I have been offered 2 different turfs each using a differnt seed mix: 1. 20% perennial rye grass 20% strong red fescue 30% chewings fescue 30% slender creeping red fescue 2. 25% perennial rye grass 20% chewings fescue 35% slender creeping red fescue 20% smooth stalk meadow grass The turf is for a good quality back lawn with little wear.
