Attempting to download data directly from my Polar Vantage NV into CrossTrak using the Advantage interface produces errors or inconsistent results (v2.8+). What am I doing wrong?
Downloading data from the Vantage NV can be problematic — even when using the software supplied by Polar. Check that your HRM, interface and port are correctly selected in Setup. Choose Polar Vantage NV as the monitor type (the Advantage interface will be selected automatically) and check that the selected port is not being used by another program or device (i.e. Palm Pilot). Try disconnecting/reconnecting the interface and re-opening CrossTrak until the download works.
