In addition to applying to the College of Music-COM using the process described at: http://www.music.unt.edu/admissions/index.shtml , jazz applicants submit two (2) auditions: a live classical audition for Concentration acceptance and a taped sampling of jazz styles and literature as described on the Audition repertoire suggestions on the COM website.
