A. Raise: Puts more stocks for your company on the market for you and others to buy. It will increase your share in that company, BUT ONLY IF YOU BUY THEM. If other players buy them, your share in the company goes down. Lower: Sells stocks of your company to the market. Puts up “Buy” offers on the stock market for you and others to sell. The investors sell their own shares in the company, making the company have less shares, thus increasing the value of each share. You also gain money by selling your shares, but only if you sell YOUR shares.
