They also get to choose whether a new or used motr gets put in the car. I wouldn’t authorize any other shop to do any work on the car just yet. The shop with which you have the complaint usually has the “right of first inspection”. Which means, if anyone else tampers with it or tries t fix their problems, you waive any warranty related to their work. I think you should try to make the warranty company your main point of contact. You already know the shop isn’t going to work with you. And since the warranty company is the one who pays them, maybe they can put some pressur eon the shop or at least send the car to another shop.
