Avast Anti-Virus and Comodo Firewall….?

On both Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64 I’ve used the free version of Avast as well as the free version of Comodo Firewall. I don’t really have much of anything insightful to say about the combination. I never got malware, even while going to websites that I knew full well had malware-infested advertisements. I guess that’s good. The latest version of Comodo has some very strict default policies though, which made opening ports for various programs a bit confusing at first (there are two completely separate panels that you must specify the ports in, which is not what I would have assumed). I had to actually read the documentation for once to figure out how to successfully open the ports the first time. I have nothing bad to say about the combination though. I suppose I don’t have anything outstandingly good to say about the combination either. There were never any conflicts that occurred that I can think of.
