Barack does an incredible job preaching against the word “communism” while at the same time embracing so many of its principles. Does anyone know what his definition of communism is?
Communism – All things being equal, the simplest answer is the right answ….no wait, that’s Occam’s Razor. Well, I won’t go to the dictionary but I take the word communism and see community, commune, common, and well, it sounds like the fair and equal distribution or goods and services for all citizens/comrades with work being given to those that are best suited for the work or if not suited, trained to do it. That way of life doesn’t fit in this country (society even) because people are pigs and everyone wants more than their fare share; wants to have more than his comrade in order to lord it over them and why, because humans are pigs and base and still in the middle of an evolution. WE are the missing link because we are this close to brilliance yet we keep hanging on the the animal mentality of hoarding and hiding and coveting and envying and controlling.
Most people don’t understand what communism is, including many of the other people who have answered this question. Of course, what communism is in theory differs from what communism is in practice, but Barrack Obama has embraced neither. Contrary to what Cowboy said, which is closer to Communism in practice, Communism in theory is an egalitarian, classless (therefore, no select group of elites) society where all property is owned publicly instead of privately. Marx theorized Communism as a “classless, stateless and oppression-free society where decisions on what to produce and what policies to pursue are made democratically, allowing every member of society to participate in the decision-making process in both the political and economic spheres of life.” (Wikipedia) Obama has proposed nothing of the sort, although presumably he wants society to be oppression-free.
