Bovine collagen and Restylane – how are they different?
Bovine collagen is animal-based (from cows) and may cause allergic reactions in humans. Pre-testing is required before treatment with bovine collagen. Restylane is non-animal based – no allergy testing is required – no waiting is required – and there is no risk of animal based disease or allergic reaction. The results from Restylane treatment have been proven to last twice as long as collagen treatments.
