Brake light on dash stays lite. What does this mean?

There is a pressure sensing switch on the master cylinder that will turn on this indicator light on the dash if there is enough of a pressure difference between the front brakes vs the rear brakes. It would be a good idea to check brake system for leaks and fluid level. Sometimes it’s just a matter of readusting the switch by having someone hold pressure on the brake pedal while you slightly bleed either the front or back brake line at the master cylinder. Be sure you are confident you are knowledgeable to handle this… you don’t want braking problems afterward… Good luck and be careful.
