No since it requires you to purchase health insurance. The closest thing to socialism I guess would be that those who do no work can apply for state healthcare which is free except for prescriptions(you have to pay a few bucks) But once you start working you have to pay for the state insurance, which case it is best to get your employers insurance. Technically there was nothing Mitt Romney could do about it since his entire time in office the Democrats kept rejecting everything he proposed and he didnt have enough vetoing power to stop anything the Democrats proposed. He often had to go to the media to humiliate the Democrats to get them to vote for things he proposed, like tighter laws against pedophiles and drunk drivers and getting the Amber Alert. Don’t know why but Democrats didnt want any of that.
