The symptoms of a bent frame can vary widely depending on the nature, severity and position of the damage. A bumping noise may sometimes but not always be a symptom. This is often the result of components moved out of position and striking each other as a result. Other systems are sometimes rapid wear of suspension and driveline parts, tire wear, poor driving and vibrations. See our Detailed Topic article Frame and Unibody Damage for far more details.
