Can a bicornuate uterus cause infertility?
Abnormalities of the uterus can be a factor in infertility and the inability to carry a pregnancy to term for many women. These same abnormalities can also adversely affect pregnancy outcome ( recurrent pregnancy loss ). It would depend on the severity of the malformation of your uterus. You might be able to carry to term, even with bicornuate uterus. It should not, however, affect your ability to conceive, based on the information I have been able to find. How long have you been trying since the miscarriage? Average time to conceive can approach a year, and if it’s been that long (six months if you are over 30 or 35), you should see a fertility specialist. They would likely be able to answer your questions much more thoroughly than anyone here on Answers, as well. Good luck!
