Can a Canadian production company insist on using a Canadian crew for a USA TV shoot?
If they own the production company, why on earth would you think they HAD to use your husband “just because?” God bless the nation that looks out for the welfare of its citizens FIRST. Since you suspect that the major US network doesn’t know the Canadians are “blocking” US citizens, why don’t you inform them, perhaps hold a news conference and inform them? The location of a production has nothing to do with the citizenship of the cameramen filming it. It would be very lame of a company if they didn’t look for tax breaks; it is all about saving money.
