Can a dependency be created between a Consultant/Coach and client?
Not really. You may “need” RESULTS in order to maximize an opportunity or accelerate growth, yet not be “dependent” RESULTS. Anyone who’s up to something “needs” structure, advice, support, tools, and a place to brag, so in that sense, consulting/coaching is necessary. But an emotional, psychological dependency is not created. There are however, some services we provide that require specialized training and certification and you may want on a regular basis, such as assessments to help select new employees, or for succession planning. Although we may be resolving problems, RESULTS helps the client to create a better future.
