Can a Focoltone ICCS-calibrated printer produce matching Pantone colors?
No, unless you can match Pantone colors to printable CMYK colors. Focoltone ICCS is designed to enable printers to approach offset press quality. It therefore functions within the CMYK color space that such presses typically use. If a Pantone color falls within that color space, a Focoltone ICCS-calibrated printer could produce a pleasing color match. There are a few things to consider though. If the Pantone color is outside the CMYK color gamut, Focoltone ICCS can only calibrate your printer to achieve the closest possible CMYK result. It would also be dependent on whether your printer is Pantone-certified; Pantone-certified printers would naturally produce better results.
