Yes, but please make sure your AAU coach and the coach of your other sport(s) you may be participating in are aware that you are playing multiple sports simultaneously and that they do not have a problem with you doing so. School sports and our program usually work out to play both. While we do not mind our athletes to participate in other sports during the AAU season, we do expect our team to usually be given a priority (unless we have agreed to contrary in advance) in those instances where a conflict may arise. (An exception to that rule is when a school sport is involved and then we understand that activity must take priority.) Absenteeism causes problems with team harmony, performance, and overall chemistry on the court. AAU caliber basketball requires commitment from players, coaches, and parents.
