If she already knows you and isn’t interested in you now, then it’s unlikely that losing weight and becoming physically fit will make any difference. And to be honest if it did make a difference then I don’t think that’s a reason to go out with her – if she’s only interested in what you look like then what’s going to happen when you’re old and wrinkly or if you put weight on again? I wasn’t interested in my (now) boyfriend for a couple of years, he seemed like a decent bloke but was very insecure and self-pitying (he freely admits that now himself), he went on about the fact that no one wanted to go out with him and he was very overweight, probably because he comfort-ate, it was all self-perpetuating.
