Can a licensed funeral director sell or solicit the sales of cemetery plots for a commission?
No. Wis. Stat. 445.12(6) prohibits any licensed funeral director or operator of a funeral establishment from operating or owning a cemetery, or from receiving or accepting any type of commission, fee, or benefit of any type in connection with the sale or transfer of any cemetery lot, burial privilege, or cremation.
