Can a male and female ball python be housed together?

No. you can’t keep them together. It is not reccomended by most to keep reptiles of the same species together. But it’s really not a good idea to keep a male and female together. You say they are babies. This means if they breed, the female will not be large enough to support the eggs if she becomes gravid, and she will die. Even if they don’t breed, while she is still too young and small, they will breed when they are older, whether you want them to or not. This means the female will end up overbred, and this kills. She will continue to lay clutches of eggs very frequently, until it drains her, and she will become to weak to survive. If you really wanted to keep 2 ball pythons together, it should be a female and another female or similar size. 2 males will end up fighting eventually, and a male and a female should only be together for breeding purposes (when they are old enough, and large enough) The best thing for the animals would be to get another tank for one, and keep them separa
