It may happen, but it will be slow. When you are watching TV, sitting at your computer and can take a 1 minute break, or any other time you have even 1-10 minutes, do something that gets your heart moving. I understand, we are all busy (some of us taking 17 credits, working, has pets, and married to someone who lives 2+ hours away are more busy than others), but if you want it, it is possible to get moving. Start with jumping jacks during commercial or 1 minute computer breaks (close the office door if it’s that big of a deal to be seen). Walk around your office, pacing quickly, when on phone calls. Take the stairs. Walk to the fridge and refill your water during commercials, then run in place for 30 seconds, do 20 crunches, do 15 jumping jacks, do 10 squats, and drink half that water. Lunge from your bed to your bathroom every morning. The point is, you really do need to get more than one muscle moving.
