Technically yes, but that would involve having leads so short that you would be breaking the UKRA safe distance section of the UKRA Safety Code. The minute you lengthen the leads to a distance sufficient to comply with the UKRA Safety Code, a model rocket ignition system is unlikely to have sufficient power to fire the igniter due to losses in the length of cable required.
