Yes. Temporary accounts are often created for freelancers, comp houses, authors, and outside partners. The freelancer should access the online user request form here, where she should select the “Independent Contractor” role. They should list a Pearson employee with whom they are working as the “Pearson Contact” in the space provided. These accounts last a maximum of 6 months, but may be renewed. Thirty days before the account expires, the freelancer will be contacted about extending the account. If they choose to extend the account, the Pearson contact will be contacted and asked to approve it.
